Welcome Awards

Stormsriver Adventures has again been nominated for a prestigious award!
The company is a finalist in the 2009 / 2010 Welcome Awards in the Tourist Attraction category. The Welcome Awards recognize those tourism businesses, operations and individuals that not only act as excellent hosts but also raise the levels of customer service and provide authentic South African experiences.

CEO, Ashley Wentworth stated: “We are humbled by the finalist nomination which is an endorsement to each and every member of our dedicated team for their commitment to service excellence.”

The Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour® has become a major attraction to the Garden Route and Eastern Cape. Pioneered by Stormsriver Adventures in 2001 the Canopy Tour® concept has expanded to Magaliesberg, Karkloof, Magoebaskloof, Drakensberg, and Swaziland, each an unique experience. More importantly 250 new jobs have been created in rural areas through Canopy Tours® affording youngsters the opportunity to enter the exciting world of eco tourism.

The winners of the Welcome Awards will be announced at this years Indaba in Durban which will be from the 8th to 11th May 2010.
