Be Unique is a small boutique located in Storms River Village.

They stock children's clothing (ages 1–5): lovely dresses, jackets, soft toys, and more.

For the ladies, there are beautiful hand-knitted bags, scarves, small gifts—a bit of everything.

They also handle sewing alterations for the local community.

The shop also stocks bottled guavas, jams, etc.

Every second weekend also delicious puddings and no-bake cheesecakes.

The Be Unique story

In 2020, we moved from Mondeor, Johannesburg, to Stormsrivier. I arrived with a large stock of items I had created during the lockdown period, initially intending to sell them at markets.

In 2021, we lost our daughter. Afterward, I began dreaming of a small shop, and that is where my journey of healing began... and so, "Be Unique" came into being. I am living my dream—it is my happy place. 

It is a one-woman business.
