Ragels Rivier is an unspoilt, private guest farm, situated next to the familiar Nooitgedacht farm, 30km outside the small town of Kareedouw. Ragelsrivier Guest Farm borders on the fabulous Baviaans Nature Reserve with the hidden gem of the Baviaans Route from Hankey to Willowmore.
Our camps and two farm-style cottages provide the perfect family getaway. The surrounding mountains, valleys and rivers provide the seclusion you need to break away. This is the perfect place to relax, unplug, and let nature recharge all your senses.

Directions from Assegaaibosch Train Station:
The farm is located 30km from the R62 tarmac road turnoff from Assegaaibosch train station. At the turnoff continue over the low water bridge and turn left. Wind up the mountain (Kareedouw will be on your left), at the top of the mountain there is a fork in the road, so keep left. You will see our first signboard. Continue driving along the dirt road/mountain pass until you reach the farm. Our signboards are along the road that will guide you to the farm.
